Acquire Work

Placing work is an important part of the creation process. Supporting artists through acquisition and placement directly enables the creation of new work. The studio provides a secure, convenient, and private experience for viewing and selecting work. All purchases conducted through the studio are in agreement with all representatives and galleries. We've provided an overview of the process and a request form to start a conversation. Please contact us with any questions.

Available work

Most of the active project series have available work. Because this is an active studio with new work being created, the details about available work change frequently. Once a client starts the process by contacting the studio, we will provide specific details on which works are currently available. This information is tailored to the client’s preferences for a specific size, price range, or project series. Because each work is unique, we will meet with our clients to talk through the details and background information, and answer any questions. We will schedule meetings over the phone, video conference, or in-person. This may include seeing the work within a chosen space or location. If travel is requested, this may require an initial fee which will be quoted upon request.

The process

Looking at art and collecting work should be interesting and inspire curiosity. We work with all types of collectors and enjoy helping people find the right piece for them. For some collectors the first step may be to follow an artist for a while, or to choose favorite pieces, colors, or project series. Or, it may begin with a room or wall in your home, office, or business that feels empty. When you’re ready to start a conversation, we will provide details on currently available work, and will recommend pieces based on your requirements. We want to provide the most recent information, as well as the best pieces that are available by price, size, medium, or project series.

First-time acquisition

Buying a painting isn’t like buying socks. It is something that a person lives with for a long time. A painting can transform how a room feels and can inspire people who enter a space. It’s important that each acquisition is a good long-term fit for both the client and the artist. That’s why we take the time to work directly with clients during the acquisition process. Even after the initial consultation it may take time to select a work. Once a work is selected we work with our clients to ensure a secure and convenient delivery and installation. Also, we are able to consult on framing and hanging, and are pleased to recommend art advisors for further consultation services. If requested, we will stay in touch and provide notice of newly available work, upcoming shows and events.
